I like it at the moment, it’s an absolute cluster-fuck of moving textures. Some move too fast in the context of the scene, perhaps the ones on the mantle of the squid should not be so different, they should have a smoother transition between each another.
Yes there were problems with ncloth creating realistic movement, but I never tried to create anything realistic anyway! I just wanted to show animated textures being more energetic than 3d objects whilst still utilizing their solidity. I think I did that. It is well on the way to what I want to achieve. Next I need to experiment with different timings and speeds of the textures as not everything should move at the same rate.
Oh yeah, and watch it in silence! The audio is supposed to come from your computer’s fan and ambient empty house noises.
